Meet your wedding photographer

I’m Shiri—a wedding and portrait photographer for those who want their moments to feel as vibrant as they remember them.

My journey behind the lens started long before I made it my career. I began photographing professionally at 16 and shot my first wedding at 19. Even while I was pursuing my degree in Legal Science at Purdue and working as a legal assistant in Patent and Immigration Law, I was always documenting the world around me.

Having lived in six states, moved 23 times, and traveled to five countries, I’ve learned that "home" isn't a place—it's the people and the stories we carry with us. My time in the legal field sharpened my attention to detail and my ability to handle complex logistics, but my heart has always belonged to the art of the "small detail." Today, I use that meticulous legal assistant brain to ensure your wedding day or family session is seamless, while my creative soul captures the electric energy that makes your story yours.

I’m a Minnesota girl at heart now living in Indiana, a recent bride myself, and a firm believer that life is best lived with a bit of "spunky, sassy, and electric" flair. Whether we’re aiming for a 90s-era Aniston vibe or a classic family documentary, I’m here to make sure no part of your love story—no matter how subtle—goes unnoticed.

The Rapid Fire Round:

  • Vibe: Organized, adventurous, and easy-going.

  • I Eloped! I’ve been on both sides of the lens as a bride and a photographer. Choosing an elopement myself gave me a deep appreciation for intimate, intentional celebrations.

  • Fun Fact: I competed in Bible memory competitions for 10 years!

  • My Faith: I am a Christian and a believer in Jesus; He is the foundation of my life and business.

When I’m not documenting your milestones, you can usually find me:

  • In the Kitchen: I love cooking and baking for a crowd—probably a side effect of being one of eight kids! (Yes, I’m a classic middle child).

  • On the Move: After 23 moves, I’ve mastered the art of the "fresh start" and love exploring new places.

  • With Walter: My Golden Retriever, Walter, is my constant shadow and the best office assistant I could ask for.

  • Getting Lost in a Book: If I’m not shooting, I’m likely reading.
